The four houses, Pratap (Green), Shivaji (Yellow), Patel (Blue) and Subhash (Red) are formed for the purpose of Inter-house competition, assembly activities and various meets – literary, sports, cultural, etc. Each student of the school has been allotted one of these houses.
The names of the houses have been selected with great deliberation so as to instill in students qualities portrayed by the chosen leaders. Maharana Pratap (Green) one of the greatest Rajput warriors thwarted the might of Akbar with his bravery, skill & leadership qualities. Shivaji (Yellow) a renowned Maratha warrior bellied the attempts of Aurangazeb to usurp his kingdom. He with his courage, intelligence and wit outclassed the Mughals. Patel (Blue) the Ironman of India with his foresight united the motherland by bringing the princely states together. Subhash (Red) a great revolutionary, fought fearlessly against British to free the country from the shackles of slavery, bondage and unjust social practices.
Each house is headed by a House Master / Mistress whose role is to prepare and guide the students of his / her House for various Inter-house activities/meets.
All teachers of the school, barring the Principal, Vice Principal, H.M. and Administrative Staff are affiliated to one of the four houses.
Inter-house activities are conducted on the days allotted for the same. The objective of the Inter-house competitions is to generate a positive and healthy competitive spirit amongst the students devoid of underlying rivalries & jealousies. Such competitions help to develop spirit of leadership, co-operation, mutual understanding, tolerance and team spirit among the students.The Teacher In-charge of various academic clubs and societies prepare and train all students of the school for the different Inter-house activities / games and sports in a totally impartial and unbiased manner thereby helping every student to achieve his / her optimum ability for individual growth as well as that of the school.
